Welcome to Hope Community Church

Hi, we’re Hope Community Church, a community of Christ followers in Reno, Nevada. We are a church on a mission: to connect imperfect people to the perfect love of Christ. That has been our goal since we first opened our doors in October 2006. We’ve always had a passion for our community, knowing that we are all imperfect people who all are in need of one thing: Christ.

At Hope Community, we have a real love for the broken and beautiful people of south Reno. Our church is full of imperfect people who are seeking everything that life in Christ has to offer.

In our quest to share this message of Good News, there are a few core beliefs that guide us in everything new do.

Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible—both the Old and New Testaments—originated with God and is 100% true. The Bible is our supreme source of truth and provides the blueprint for Christian living.

We believe there is one God and one God only and that He revealed Himself as not only the Father of all creation, but also through His only Son, Jesus. He continues to reveal Himself in the Holy Spirit. We also believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit make up what the Bible calls “The Godhead.”

We believe Jesus was both fully human and fully God. It is through Jesus’ death on the cross that we can be saved.

We believe that death is final, and each one of us will either exist eternally with God or exist eternally separated from Him.

We also believe that the church is the body of Christ and that the church is what God created to reach the world. Which leads us back to our mission: to share this Good News of Jesus with our local community and the world. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, we have a space for you! We have Life Groups (a fancy name for small groups) that meet throughout the week all around Reno. We would love to welcome you in one that fits you best. We also, of course, have church services every Sunday morning at 9:00 am and 10:45 am—and we have children’s services during these times for the kiddos as well.
